Self Love!

 

Did you ever reject your outfit because  you felt uncomfortable with your body type? Because I did. I have always been the fat kid in school and college and have felt uncomfortable every second I tried to wear crop tops or skinny jeans. This post is not for any fashion advice but to spread a positive aura around millennials. I know many of you feel insecure about your body and how you represent. I was one of them too, have always taken a step back because I felt less of myself. But it took me 20 years to understand that my body is not what is holding me back but it is me who is limiting myself. Being overweight should not stop you from being yourself. Your body is your happy place, it helps you to grow everyday.  

In frame I am wearing a tank top which I bought almost 3years back but did not have the courage to put it on without a shrug but today I took my step forward! The top is styled with a ripped boyfriend's jeans which makes me look more comfortable and confident than ever. Being curvy does not make you look different it makes you unique. 

Remember Girls, self love is all you need to redeem your confidence. It is you who have to accept yourself first, eventually the world will. It is now your time to break the toxic cycle of self-distrust. Let go of your insecurities, love your body, love yourself and grow everyday. Do not restrict yourselves anymore wear whichever dress you want and show yourself off everyday. Don't drown yourself for external validations, know your worth. Be you.
